Today we held our first session at the entrance to the Park asking people to sign our petition. Well, it wasn't so much a case of asking as it was fighting them off. Even before we had our stall set out people were clamouring to sign up.

Even with four volunteers taking signatures and handing out business cards with the address of this Web site on (as we obviously prefer people to sign up online if they can) it was difficult to cope.

Through the afternoon the car park was packed with cars and people were often finding it hard to find spaces.

Sadly however the ticket machine still hasn't been commissioned so there was no where for people to give money to the Park. SCDC say it will be installed later this week.
