Cambridge Evening News kindly covered the story of our 10,000 sign ups in today's paper and you can find it online here on their web site but without the picture sadly. In an editorial accompanying the piece they said:

Park must be kept

The huge number of people who have signed the petition to save Milton Country Park is proof positive of how highly regarded the amenity is - and how vital it is that a plan is devised to keep it open.

With thousands of new homes being built in Cambridgeshire, green lungs are vital buffers against the surging tide of bricks, mortar and tarmac.

Let's hope we have some good news about the park soon.

Cambridge Evening News have been a great help to the campaign from the beginning and we can only agree with this editorial.
