Today marks 100 days until 31st August, the date when South Cambridgeshire District Council propose to start the process of closing the Park if no organisation can be found to take it on.
The campaign can finally see signs that an organisation may be found to take on the Park. There are several possibilities, including a local trust created especially to run the Park or a membership trust working alongside whoever takes on the Park to provide support from people who love of the Park.
Whatever happens the Park is going to need help as finances will be very tight. With that in mind we've chosen today to launch our new campaign Pledge for the Park. We don't want your money now but we would like you to pledge what you can afford so we know how much income the Park could expect.
You can pledge online via our new web site www.PledgeForThePark.com or you can download a paper form from the site for you to fill in and return to us. People without access to the Web haven't been forgotten either: we will be writing to everyone who signed our paper petition with a copy of the form.
