- 26/05/93 - Park opens
- The Park is opened by Cllr Roberta Cannon where she unveils the plaque you will find on the wall of the Visitor Centre.
- Summer 1995 - Art in the Park
- One of the year's main local arts events is held in the park. From simple collages for materials found around the park, metal sculptures, to the more controversial decorating of whole trees.
- 21/05/97 - Sensory Garden opens
- At 5pm the Sensory Garden is formally opened to the public by Philip Mann of Radio Cambridgeshire in the presence of Councillor Alan Wyatt (Vice-chairman of South Cambridgeshire District Council), many of the sponsors of the project and members of the Friends of Milton Country Park.
- February 1998
- The Friends project to improve access in Tomkins Mead is completed, funded by enventure southern. This quiet corner of the park is actually owned by Milton Parish, and apart form a single path is allowed to grow wild.
- May 2002 - Wild bird feeding area
- The Friends build a wild-bird feeding area, by the Visitors Centre. Whilst screened from the path this area is visible from the platform overlooking the lake behind the Visitor's Centre.
- 26/05/03 - Country Park 10th Anniversary
- The Park holds an afternoon of events and activities to celebrate the Park's birthday including performances from the Fulbourn and Teversham Brass Band, a Romano-British re-enactment group, WI Markets and children's environmental activities.
- Summer 2003 - Parklife
- The first "Parklife" concert staged: a free event for the public, featuring local bands. On the following day a folk-music and story telling day is held. (Parklife is repeated in two successive Summers).
- 15/12/06 - SCDC cabinet meeting
- Cabinet agrees that it will close the Park on 31st August 2007 if no one can be found to take it on.
